Damage Scenarios

A Damage Scenario describes the harm that materializes if a threat succeeds. It captures impact ratings across four categories and can carry security-property tags and keywords.

List View

Open Risk ManagerLibrariesThreat Library, then select the Damage Scenarios tab.

The table shows each scenario’s ID (its auto-generated DS-xxx reference), Name, Keywords (as chips), Total Impact (the worst single-category rating), and an Actions column. Only the ID cell is a link — click it to open the detail page.

  • Create — click New in the toolbar. The New Damage Scenario dialog has a required Name plus optional Description, the four per-category impact ratings, Security Properties (multi-select), and Keywords (multi-select). The reference is auto-generated — there is no reference input.
  • Delete — click the delete icon in the Actions column; a confirmation dialog appears before permanent removal.
